The International Jewish Film Festival A.C. It is a cultural, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit association. It was created in 2004 with the purpose of promoting a creative dialogue with the cultural plurality of Mexico; through the International Festival of Jewish Cinema in Mexico (FICJM) that carries out exhibitions of cinematographic works that portray the multiple facets of Jewish culture.
Today the FICJM is a determining forum for the expression of Jewish culture through cinema, placing Mexico as an important point of reference in relation to other Jewish film festivals in the world.
Our mission
Actively contribute to the conservation of the cultural diversity of our country, which is a world heritage site. Make evident the presence of Jewish culture as part of this diversity, through the FICJM.
Our vision
Join public and private institutions in initiatives in which the seventh art is a common thread for the expression of values such as: gender equality, honesty, collaborative work, respect for cultural differences, respect for migrants.
Cultural offer
The International Jewish Film Festival in Mexico, like other Jewish film festivals in the world, carries out activities throughout the year, starting its activities with an annual inauguration of its Official Selection in January and closing its activities in the month of November, to start your cycle again.
